The Oldest Battle

Life vs. Death
Right vs. Wrong
Good vs. Evil
God vs. The Enemy

I'm sorry for the serious blog, but LOOK AT OUR WORLD! It's frightening enough just living day to day, but when people are boarding planes intending to kill everyone on the plane in midair, that's insanity defined, and helps to perpetuate the same terror that these events would have enflamed.

I will not analyze this too much here, but the most interesting thing about any faction that participates in mass-murders of innocents, is that they think they're righteous. They believe THEY'RE the good guys. They believe they're doing God's will. If that's true today, then we're supposedly on the side of evil, wrong, etc.

Whatever you believe, these situations force you to choose: Define your life by how you destroy evil or define your life by how you cope with it.

I believe in the destruction of evil not by my hands, but by the power of God. And the destruction of evil in this case leaves everyone alive, including the so-called evil people.

That's probably too deep for tonight. But if you get time, check this out:

2 Chronicles 20:15
. . . This is what the LORD says to you: 'Do not be afraid or discouraged because of this vast army. For the battle is not yours, but God's.

I am praying for you, for me, and for our enemies. I just want to be able to kiss my daughter good night believing she'll get to live at least as long as I have.

Define your life.
